• Alan has worked on a range of litigation matters on behalf of major US and foreign clients for over 20 years.
• Prevailed in patent defense for large corporation based in part on the discovery of document forgeries by the patentee.
• Won at trial for a plaintiff regarding interference with a major software license agreement after software maker was acquired by a competitor.
• Successful defense in trade secret case where company founder was alleged to have misappropriated trade secrets from a former employer. 
• Oversaw implementation of a 100-page settlement agreement related to improper use of trade secrets by a competitor. 
• Obtained early complete settlement for a Chinese client (who was a former litigation opponent) in a copyright matter related to copying of their mobile video game. 
• Oversaw internal corporate investigation in response to Department of Justice inquiries regarding potential criminal IP activities of an employee. 
• Favorable early resolution of multiple patent defense matters based on a broad range of defenses.
