ABOUT
Chen Gong is a highly skilled intellectual property attorney with extensive law firm and in-house experience, including serving as Group Counsel and IPR Director at Intel. Chen’s technical expertise is in physics and electrical engineering, although he has worked with a broad range of technologies over his career. Chen provides global technology clients with proactive, risk-optimized and practical intellectual property advice, particularly in the areas of computing, artificial intelligence, and digital technology based solutions. His experience includes helping companies maximize the return on their IP investments by defining and implementing strategies and processes to efficiently develop global IP portfolios and licensing programs for patents, software, trade secrets, and trademarks, Chen also applies his technical expertise to support IP-based transactions such as patent and technology licensing, R&D collaborations, and M&A., as well as managing IP litigation, both offensive and defensive. Chen has worked as an legal advisor in Asia, Europe and Americas. In addition to his in-house counsel experience at Intel, Chen worked as Senior Director of Intellectual Property at Velodyne lidar and as Director of Intellectual Property at Byton.
