Leo specializes in intellectual property, litigation, and M&A. Over the past 20 years, he has worked as an attorney-at-law for a law firm and as in-house counsel for public companies. Before joining CBC Law, he was the General Counsel of a multi-national listed group company.

- Led the litigation team in handling hundreds of cases, achieving a 90% prevailing rate and 40% loss-mitigation rate.
- Led the team in completing M&As in South Africa, the UK, and Korea, and provided legal support for post-investment management.
- Managed IP legal affairs (negotiated SEP patent collaborations; handled NPE litigation, copyright litigation, and trade secret misappropriation).
- Led the team to combat software piracy through licensing systems, software protection, and legal action.
- Developed a Gene Sequence Patent Search System (in collaboration with South China University of Technology).
