Kangol LLC v. Hangzhou Chuanyue Silk Import & Export Co., 2026 WL 1502198 (7th Cir. May 29, 2026)
CBC Law represented the defendant-appellant in a Schedule A appeal in which the Seventh Circuit reversed and remanded. The court held that the Hague Service Convention prohibits email service in China when the Convention applies; its requirements apply when the defendant’s address is known. The district court must determine that threshold address question on remand.
